Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
At GR Collection, many of our pieces are sourced and finished with care before they reach you. We would rather take a little longer and send something we are proud of than rush an order out the door. This policy explains how our processing, dispatch and delivery work, and how it fits with your rights under Irish and EU consumer law.
If you have any question about a specific order, contact us at orders@grcollection.ie or +353 1 539 4969.
Where We Ship
We ship within Ireland first, and to the EU, United Kingdom and other international destinations where these are available at checkout. If your country is not shown at checkout, it is not currently served, though this may change over time.
Prices and Currency
Prices and shipping charges are shown in euro (EUR) unless otherwise displayed. Shipping costs, where they apply, are calculated and shown at checkout before you complete your order.
Processing and Preparation Time
Because our pieces are sourced from a range of makers and suppliers, and some arrive from overseas, we take time to check and prepare each order before it is dispatched. This preparation is a normal part of how we work and helps make sure that what you receive meets our standards.
For ready-to-ship items, we aim to prepare and dispatch your order within [X to Y business days] of receiving it, subject to stock and quality checks. During busy periods, new collection launches, or when we are selling in person at events, preparation may take a little longer, and we will let you know if that is the case.
Where an item is temporarily awaiting stock from a supplier, we will contact you with an estimated timeframe and give you the choice to wait or to cancel for a full refund.
Custom, Made-to-Order and Wedding Items
Custom, personalised, made-to-order and wedding pieces are prepared specifically for you and naturally take longer than ready-to-ship items. We agree an estimated timeframe with you before production begins, and we confirm the details of your piece at that point, as set out in our Terms of Service and our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
We keep you updated as your piece progresses. If circumstances mean a timeline needs to change, we will tell you as soon as we can and work with you on the best way forward.
Delivery Times
Once your order is dispatched, delivery time depends on the destination and the carrier. Any delivery estimates we give are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as some stages, such as carrier handling and customs processing, are outside our control. We will always do our best to keep you informed and to help resolve any delay.
As a guide only, and once dispatched:
Ireland: 1 to 3 business days
EU: 5 to 10 business days
United Kingdom: 5 to 10 business days
Rest of world: 10 to 21 business days
These figures do not include our preparation time above, and they may vary during peak periods or due to events outside our control.
Your Rights on Delivery Timing
Under Irish and EU consumer law, unless we agree a specific date or timeframe with you, we will deliver your order without undue delay and within 30 days of the day your order is accepted. For custom and made-to-order pieces, the longer timeframe we agree with you before production applies instead.
If we are genuinely unable to deliver within the agreed or applicable period, you may contact us to agree a new timeframe, and if that is not met, you are entitled to cancel the affected order and receive a full refund. This does not affect any other rights you have as a consumer.
Risk and Ownership
For consumers, your order remains our responsibility until it is delivered into your physical possession, in line with Irish and EU consumer law. If an item is lost or arrives damaged in transit, please contact us promptly and we will put it right. We may ask for a photograph or brief detail of any damage so that we can resolve it quickly.
Tracking
Where tracking is available for your delivery method, we will provide tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Customs, Duties and Import Charges
Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs charges applied by the destination country. These are set by the local authorities and are the responsibility of the customer, as they are outside our control and are not included in the price you pay us at checkout. If you are ordering from outside the EU, we suggest checking your local rules before ordering so there are no surprises on arrival.
Incorrect Addresses and Failed Deliveries
Please make sure your delivery address is complete and correct at checkout, as we prepare orders based on the details you provide. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or a missed delivery, we will contact you to arrange redelivery, which may involve an additional shipping charge. If you notice a mistake in your address, contact us as soon as possible and we will help if the order has not yet been dispatched.
Returns
This policy covers delivery to you. If you need to return an item, please see our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy. Our returns address is issued to you once a return has been approved, so please wait to hear from us before sending anything back.
